About me
BIGAIS DESIGN | About me

Hello, I’m Nadia, a freelance UX, UI & Visual Designer.
Creativity that comes from within:
I am a visual communication professional, but above all, a curious, passionate person eager to take on new challenges. My approach is always creative, practical, and collaborative: I enjoy working closely with people, understanding their real needs, and translating them into effective and recognizable visual solutions.
A journey that combines vision and action:
It all started in 2008 at Art High School, where I discovered that graphic design is not only creativity but also technique and study. In 2012, I graduated in Visual Communication from SUPSI in Lugano, and from there began a professional path made up of diverse experiences connected by a common thread: intuition, empathy, and tailor-made design. Over the past nine years, I have worked in agencies and companies across Italy and Switzerland, moving from freelance projects to teamwork, gaining a comprehensive view of communication design.
Agency experience: where creativity meets strategy:
In 2021, I joined the creative team at Ueppy, a web agency based in Bormio. Here, I handle graphic design, web design, social media, and digital communication for clients in the tourism and hospitality sectors. It’s a dynamic, hands-on environment where creativity meets the real needs of those working locally. I take an active role:
• Graphic design (online and offline)
• Web design and UX/UI design
• Creation of visual identities
• Management of social profiles and marketing campaigns
• Creation of newsletters and coordinated content
Working in an agency has taught me to be fast, precise, and strategic — to understand clients and find the right form for every message.
Printing ideas, building relationships
In 2023, I joined Tipografia Bonazzi. I changed sectors but kept the same approach: bringing my creative, results-oriented perspective. I manage projects from briefing to final printing, create social content, promotional materials, and handle the e-commerce. Here, I further appreciate the value of care, precision, and tailor-made work.
Fabrics, patterns, and new challenges
Today, I work as a Textile Designer at Texna, a company specializing in jacquard-woven labels and ribbons. Here, I design textile patterns, develop custom drafts, and coordinate the company’s visual communication — from social media to the website, and printed materials. It’s a role that’s both technical and creative, where I bring all my flexibility and adaptability to the table: from concept to finished product.
A well-rounded professional, a reliable person
I consider myself versatile, practical, with a strong work ethic. I love structured projects but also those that require rolling up my sleeves. I’ve learned to work well under pressure, communicate clearly, and carry ideas forward with enthusiasm and method. Those who work with me say I have taste but also substance. And that I can turn an idea into a concrete, coherent, and effective project.
Continuous learning, aiming for the future
I believe in ongoing education as a continuous resource. In recent years, I have invested time and resources to expand my skills:
• 2019 – Advanced Course in User Experience Design, Politecnico di Milano
• 2021–2022 – Online Master’s in Digital Marketing and Social Media, 24ORE Business School
This allows me to move naturally between graphics and strategy, between aesthetics and objectives.
